Europe Travel Part 1

Finally, I am done with my one month travel. I still couldn't believe that I made it!!! YEAH!! Can't tell how excited I am when I first step out from the flight in London Stansted airport. Breathing the fresh air, watching the white skin people----> ang moh walking around, cold and windy environment, yeah, I have reached UK. I have traveled 9 countries in 38 days. Within this 38 days, I learned to be independent, learned to adapt to the western culture, learned how to survive in cold winter, and of course, I get to make friends from different countries. To make it easier, I will only share those interesting spots or things over here =)
The first stop we went is London. London is a big and hectic city where people are rushing for their work, for their jobs and for their life. I don't really like London when I first got there because people are rushing here and there while we need to carry our luggage along, as if we were blocking other people's way. But later on, I was impressed by the efficiency and the manner of the people over here. They are helpful and they put on a smile when they work. Unlike Malaysia workers, especially the government workers, you will never see them smile. Perhaps I should say European love their jobs.I guess that's the spirit you should have towards your job. Anyway, back to the topic. We spent 3 days 2 nights in London. The below is the pictures of places we went.

Madame Tussauds which the entrance fees cost us 25pound.
I don't think it's worth to get in especially when you see Victoria is standing beside Beckham =p



The National Museum. Nothing much inside there but just dinosaurs.
But since it's free admission, so why not get in. hehe =p



Hyde Park. A very nice sightseeing place to be. I can feel the wind blowing towards my face, the people were having their rollerskating, dogs running around, and people jogging along the pathway.



London Eye. Much more better than Eye on Malaysia. =p



The Tower Bridge but it's sometimes mistakenly referred to as London Bridge.
Personally I think Tower Bridge is much nicer than London Bridge. Anyway, I forgot to sing the song London Bridge is falling down when I see the bridge. Hehe.



Dinner for 9. It's the best scene I love throughout the whole trip. You will never imagine how nice it is to have 9 Malaysians sitting down and chatting around together. I feel like I am back home. =)

The second stop is Edinburgh. Before I been here, everyone is telling me that Edinburgh is a very nice place to be. I finally understand what they meant when I got down from the bus. The buildings there were amazingly great. There is basically 2 parts in Edinburgh, which are the old town and the new town. I prefer the old town due to the nice buildings. Actually, you only need a whole day time to walk around this city. Stay overnight if you plan to go to the lakes or they called it as loch. We went to one of the loch called Loch Ness. Loch Ness was famous because of nessie. I wa shoping to meet nessie but I guess it is too shy to see me =p. We took a tour to the Loch Ness and it costs us 30++ pound for the whole tour. It's quite worth as you can see a lot of nice view especially the mountain and the glands along the way to Loch Ness. The tour guide was fun as he shared a lot of the history of Edinburgh with us and he got a lot of lame jokes to share with. Unfortunately it was raining during the day we went to Edinburgh. I still remember that the first thing the tour guide asked us was Why you guys choose to come here during November. Everyone was just laughing. Yeah, it's not a good time to come during early winter. So, I think I will be back someday during other season cause Scotland is a really nice place to go. Here is some pictures of this city.

A MUST place to go when you come to Edinburgh. It's amazingly nice. You can see the whole view of Edinburgh and the view of sunset.

一个人的精彩

虽然感情世界处在空当期，
但单身的生活让我觉得非常精彩。
好久没尝试过呼吸自由的空气，
好久没畅快的奔跑。
忽然觉得这一片宽阔的草地，是属于我的。
爱情让人成长，也让人心痛。
但看到身边的朋友甜蜜蜜的时候，
心里也为他们觉得幸福。
只是我不去强求，也不会错过。
缘分来的时候，我会好好珍惜。
缘分未到之前，我会好好渡过一个人的精彩。=）

Study W€€k

After 3 years of studying in university, you will tired and bored. I guess this is the reason why most of the courses offered are 3-year course. Get kind of boring and lazy during this study week especially you only study for 3 subjects in 2 weeks time. That is why we ended up jalan jalan cari makan =p

Tenji. We did not eat much that day. Maybe been to Jogoya for twice makes me feel sick of buffet. Anyway, the environment there is good. =)

We stopped by at a travel fair and I managed to get myself a nice winter coat for RM 49 only. He he. Chui Yee busy posing with all the winter accesories. =p

That night I went back home, grab some instant noodles again for my dinner. The next morning, I started to feel sick. My stomach was feeling not well but I couldn't tell what's the problem. I did not manage to study the whole day as I kept on sleeping until evening.

Suet Ying they all bought some gastric medicine for me which I feel so 'YUCKS'. Anyway, they make me feel so sleepy after taking the pills. I slept from 9.30 that night and woke up at 9.30 the next morning. The conclusion is, I wasted 24 hours in sleeping =.='

While others busy with their studies, and I am blogging. Sigh.

Preparation...... Loading.......

I can't wait. It's less than one month! Wow! Can you imagine? It's less than one month. My heart is beating faster; my mind is in Europe now. I feel like screaming and shouting out my excitement! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW........ (People must think that I have gone insane. Haha!) Anyway, back to the topic. This backpack thing has crossed my mind since half a year ago. I never thought of this silly, adventurous thing will be real in one day. I am so excited although I need to go through my finals starting next week. There are so many preparation has been done in these 6 months. From visiting Kenny Sia’s blog till calling MSL travel agency to find all the info, finally we came out with something. Oh yeah, for your information, the first two weeks I’m going with my family and the rest one month, I will be travelling with a friend of mine, Siaw Ling, who is the only one has this crazy idea like me. He he.
There are a lot of places we will be going in these 38 days. Here is our route
Coventry – Edinburgh – Birmingham – London – Barcelona – Paris – Amsterdam – Belgium – Switzerland – Venice – Rome – London

Things cannot be done without a map, scratching map.

It’s crazy! Yeah, I know. It’s ridiculous! Yeah, I know that. It’s superb! Yeah, I….. WAIT, I can only be able to answer this question when I am succeeding with my plan. Hehe. Anyhow, it seems very easy when you tell this. But there is a lot of hard behind this. We have gone through so many hard times. Times when you feel like bang your head to the wall when you couldn’t manage to find the suitable route. Times when the flight ticket price raises until you feel like swim back rather than fly back.*wiping tears* Times when you got no enough money but you still insist to travel so many places in a shot. In other words, I am stubborn.
I need to apply for international student card first in order to get through the pak cik kastam in airport. The most important thing is we can get discount in Zara with international student card. WAKAKAKAKA! So I have to get to MSL which I don't even know where this building is. I went with my sister who keeps on urging me cause she is hungry. I called to MSL and the staff told me that it's located beside clinic negara. So I thought it's those big government clinics. We spent some time looking for that building, and with the help of my sister's housemate, we manage to see this.

Of course, I did get some ‘souvenirs’ back from MSL. You can save a lot of money as you don’t have to buy any travel books which is so damn expensive.

You need a verification letter from your university in order to apply international student card. UM staff is quite efficient this time, in preparing me this letter. =)

With all the information, we started to look for the cheapest hostel, plan for our route, plan for the budget etc..

From scribbling to a more systematic way.

It's winter time when I am in UK. Wonder I will become an ice cube when I get there. Thus, I keep on eating. EATING, EATING.... to gain more fat so that I can keep myself warmer. Haha. Ok Ok mum, I know I have gone too far. I need to get back study. Yeah. I know. Study well for now, and enjoy TO THE FULLEST for my UK trip. WOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!

友情，坚固却脆弱......

原本想回家好好的温习功课，谁知曾经是我的好朋友的她竟然在网上形容我们是魔鬼。哈哈！多可笑！两年多的友情，竟被她用魔鬼来形容。说我们自以为是，欺负她。顿时，我在想，难道在她的眼中，我们就是那么差劲的朋友吗？一小段的考验就可以试得出友情的坚固。人们常说，交朋友是将心比心。我想如果另一个朋友对她做出一样的事情，她也会和我们有一样的反应吧。只是为什么，她那么可以理直气壮，认为所有的事情都是必然的呢？如果换着是其他人，她早就被人追债，恐吓了。还以为一切的事情都会告一段落，让一切冷了，淡了，我们又会回到最初的我们。谁知，一次又一次的谎言，一次又一次的伤害让我不知该如何去相信这个女生了。友情和爱情都是一样的，都是靠一个信字来维持。没有了信任，那么这一切还算什么。我真的曾经用一颗心和她交朋友，我曾经尝试用宽容的心来包容她的一切，但是，她那魔鬼两个字把我们的友情画下休止符了......
